Digital Literacy for Inclusive Medical Education and advocacy (DLIME) project

Aim
To enhance the digital literacy skills of rural health workers thereby reducing the barriers to access of medical education, and participation in advocacy.
Achievements
We trained 18 Health workers from Hoima Regional Referral Hospital on utilizing digital tools for advocay. The participants understood the benefits, challenges of utilizing social media for online advocacy and how to mitigate them. They further familiarized themselves with REMI East Africa’s online story collection form and its role in advocacy and creating online cognito evaluation forms.
